Dual Career Consultation

The task of dual career consultation is to support the accompanying partners (dual career partners) of new employees in their entry into the job market at the new location. Such a counselling service includes one or several counselling interviews with the dual career consultation regarding topics as for example career orientation, job search, application documents, job interviews and career entry.

If you start to work for an institution from the „Dual Career Hamburg + der Norden” network and are interested in dual career consultation for your accompanying partner, please get in touch with the contact person of your institution who will help you to find out if a dual career consultation may be offered. Often, your new employer will provide information about the possibility to get dual career assistance.

Within the „Dual Career Hamburg + der Norden” network, all contact persons are in close touch and support each other in finding jobs for dual career couples. Contacting other network partners is done exclusively via the contact persons of the institutions. If you are interested in a vacancy of a network partner from science and business, please inform your institution.
